Jessi Colter Concert at the Desert Night Life Event

Saturday, March 8th - 6:30 PM

A Phoenix native, Jessi Colter is probably best known for her work with husband Waylon Jennings and her 1975 self-penned hit, “I’m not Lisa.” She remains one of country music’s singular talents, a singer, songwriter and entertainer whose influence continues to echo across musical genres. In conjunction with the concert, the Museum will be open from 5:00 - 10:00 PM for Desert Night Life, a special night event featuring astronomy and nocturnal animal programs for the entire family. Concert tickets include admission to the Desert Night Life event.

Sunday Matinee with John Oates

Sunday, March 9th - 4:30 PM

John Oates has been celebrated as a pop music icon and an American Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee. It was recently announced that Oates will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year. Oates is usually found touring with his solo show or his Hall & Oates band mate Daryl Hall. The influential duo has been recognized by numerous American Music and MTV awards as well as multiple Grammy nominations. Oates is currently celebrating his latest solo effort, A Good Road to Follow, a collection of original songs that show him returning to his songwriter roots. Concert tickets include admission to the Desert Museum, which will be open from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
